The department of pain medicine in our multispeciality hospital provides 24/7 acute pain service with the help of staff from other specialities. We have experts in managing patients presenting with chronic pain due to various reasons. Currently Postoperative patients presenting with acute pain are managed by anaesthesists and anyone needing special support will be referred to pain team for expert help. It is a multidisciplinary team formed by pain consultants, nurses, Physiotherapists and Psychologists.
