The Department of Anaesthesiology, GKNM Hospital, presents the 3rd Edition of Mastering Obstetric Anaesthesia - “Decoding Complexity, Delivering Clarity,” on Sunday, 20 December 2026 at the GKNM College of Nursing Auditorium, Coimbatore.

The academic programme brings together eminent faculties and specialists to explore contemporary challenges and advances in obstetric anaesthesia, with a focus on delivering safe and effective anaesthetic care in complex obstetric situations. TNMC Credit Hours have been applied for.

The programme features expert-led lectures, a Master Class on Labour Analgesia by Dr. Sunil T. Pandya, an Obstetric Anaesthesia Simulation Workshop, and an engaging quiz with exciting prizes. Key sessions will cover evolving anaesthetic strategies in preeclampsia and eclampsia, cardiac diseases in pregnancy, medicolegal issues in obstetric anaesthesia and critical care in obstetrics.

The event provides an opportunity for healthcare professionals to learn from experienced faculty, exchange clinical perspectives, and enhance their understanding of safe obstetric anaesthesia practices.
