GKNM Hospital proudly presents a unique wellness meet for all mothers-to-be and new mothers, which is titled “Baby Brain Day,” to take place on the 10th of January 2026, Saturday, at the GKNM iOP Auditorium, near Lakshmi Mills Signal, Coimbatore, from 10:30 AM to 12 PM. This meeting informs expecting and new mothers about how to understand and nurture their baby's intelligence while in the womb and during the first year of life.

The speakers at this event will be Dr. Amutha Giridhar, Chairperson for the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology at GKNM Hospital, and Dr. Narmadha K. Bharathi, Consultant Paediatric Neurologist. Attendees will receive useful information not only on prenatal and early childhood brain development and practical tips that can be used to stimulate cognitive growth, but also on ways that can ensure overall wellness for both mother and child.

Baby Brain Day is focused on empowering parents with knowledge based on scientific guidance and practical counsel for influence over a child's developmental milestones. Important topics discussed include nutrition, mental stimulation, bonding techniques, and interventions that can turn a child into a top learner while enhancing their emotional well-being.
