Practical Approach to Congenital & Perinatal Infections
The Department of Paediatrics, GKNM Hospital, Coimbatore, presents Congenital Infections Revisited - Practical Approach to Congenital & Perinatal Infections,” a CME focused on current approaches to the diagnosis, management and prevention of congenital and perinatal infections.
The programme will be conducted under the guidance of Dr. Ragapathy Veluswamy, Chief Executive, GKNM Hospital, with Dr. B. Antony Terance as the Organizing Chairman and Dr. N. Ramesh as the Organizing Secretary, along with a panel of distinguished faculty. The CME will cover antenatal risk assessment, neonatal evaluation, fetal imaging, diagnostic approaches including serology and PCR, ophthalmological clues, and practical management of common and emerging congenital infections such as CMV, toxoplasmosis, HSV, rubella, HIV, TB and varicella.
The CME will also highlight multidisciplinary perspectives involving paediatricians, neonatologists, infectious disease specialists, obstetricians, fetal medicine specialists, ophthalmologists, microbiologists and virologists.
