GKNM Hospital Marks a Milestone in Pulmonology Care! 

We hosted a special event to celebrate the enhancement of our Pulmonology Department— equipped with advanced diagnostics, expert consultants, and a renewed commitment to respiratory wellness.

The event was inaugurated by Dr. Ragupathy Veluswamy, CEO of GKNM Hospital, Dr. Nandagopal Velayuthaswamy of the Coimbatore Respiratory Society, and our Pulmonology team.

A highlight of the event was a keynote on “Artificial Intelligence in Lung Ultrasound” by Dr. Tudor Toma (UK), a global expert in lung ultrasound and AI.

Our Pulmonology experts—Dr. Sundarakumar SK, Dr. Vijayaravinth R, Dr. Senthilkumar S, and Dr. Harivignesh M—led an insightful workshop to equip participants with advanced interventional pulmonology skills.

With this upgrade, GKNM continues to raise the bar in treating asthma, COPD, sleep apnea, and more.
