In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the GKNM Hospital organized "பெண்ணே விழித்திடு" in Coimbatore, promoting its continued crusade to promote women's health and early detection. The initiative created awareness regarding the importance of early detection and prevention of cancer. The event provided a platform for women to be made aware of the necessity of early detection, risk factors, and preventive measures for breast cancer. The activity involved sensitizing the women to and educating them on breast cancer and how to prevent it through informative presentations, survivor stories, and Q&A sessions that empowered the participants with knowledge.

The awareness campaign was about information about early detection of breast cancer and also a celebration of resilience, community, and the power of early action. By conducting interactive sessions and testimonials, the event made it clear that if breast cancer is found early, it is treatable and survivable.
