Biography
- Dr. Sharnita P completed her undergraduate medical training (MBBS) at PSG Institute of Medical Sciences & Research, Coimbatore, where she developed an early interest in understanding the human mind and behaviour. She went on to pursue her MD in Psychiatry at Vydehi Institute of Medical Sciences, Bangalore, where she gained comprehensive training in managing a wide spectrum of psychiatric disorders across age groups, including emergency psychiatry and community mental health.
- Driven by a deep interest in child mental health, she further specialized with a Postdoctoral Fellowship in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry at the prestigious Christian Medical College (CMC), Vellore. During this period, she received advanced training in developmental assessments, psychotherapies, and multidisciplinary care, equipping her to address complex psychiatric needs in children and adolescents.
