  • The John Funder Prize for the best PhD student research publication at Liggins Institute for the year 2013 – Awarded on 10th December, 2013 at Liggins Institute, University of Auckland, New Zealand.
  • Nominated for the top 18 doctoral theses of the year 2013 at the University of Auckland, New Zealand.
  • New Zealand India Research Institute grant, 2013 awarded as a co-principal investigator with Prof Wayne Cutfield for research in India. NZ$ 50,000 has been granted for a study on offspring of non-obese mothers with gestational diabetes.
  • Australasian Paediatric Endocrine Group Research Grant of 2011 awarded at Perth, Australia (AUS$ 15,000) for the research on glucose metabolism and body composition of pre-pubertal children born to mothers with severe hyperemesis gravidarum.
  • Australasian Paediatric Endocrine Group Research Grant, 2010 awarded at Adelaide, Australia. AUS$ 15,000 was awarded for research on the glucose metabolism and body composition of post-term children.
