Course Objective
We are organising CT CME - 2006 in association with the National Board of Examnations. The target groups for this program are postgraduate students both DNB & Mch. We have formulated an excellent two days of academic activity on the 7th & 8th January 2006. This will concentrate on case presentations with discussions and a few important lectures. The aim is to prepare a candidate for the DNB / Mch examination particularly the practicals & Viva Voce. i am confident that post graduate students will use this opportunity and register for this course.

Live Video Conference
A live Teleconference on "Current Dilemmas in Adult Cardiac Surgery" was conducted on the 20th evening with the Division of Cardiac Surgery, Mayo Clinic, USA. Dr. Hartzell V. Schaff, Dr. Thoralf Sundt, Dr.Kenton Zehr and Dr. Joe Dearani, participated in the hour long discussion. The live conference was flawless and ISDN connectivity was provided by Airtel, India.

STITCH Trial
"Surgical Treatment of Ischaemic Failure" - TRIAL is a NIH funder multicentric prospective randomised trial conducted to compare medical Vs surgical treatment of Ischemic Heart Failure and to assess the efficiency of surgical Ventricular Restoration (SVR).

Our Centre is one of the 12 centres in India selected for the purpose.
